''Baratie Arc'' episode 19

Episode 19 is a back returning episode revealing Zoro's past. In the East Blue, Shimotsuki Village Zoro was a boy running around calling himself a dojo breaker. He stood up and challenged the female swordsman Kuina to a match betting the dojo's sign and lost. As a result to his loss Zoro had to become a member of the dojo he attanded to break. Keeping up hard and harsh training Zoro thought of nothing but to defeat Kuina, however as if all his efforts were in vain he kept losing to her and with a single strike each time. Increasing the number of swords he uses, from one to two from two to three. Increasing the amount of time of practice and doubling his efforts. Defeating all the adults, and gaining more and more strength. Unfortunately it was all futile in front of Kuina's single strike. Her saying was always: '' you're as weak as ever Zoro''. It became his obsession, his goal beating Kuina.
At late night walking the corrider, Kuina heard her father and one of the dojo's man talking about the noticeable progress of Zoro and a the sad truth of not letting Kuina inferit the dojo because she's a girl. Then Zoro came on to Kuina challenging her on their 2001th match with a real sword. Under the prevision of the owl the fought and Zoro lost for the 2001th time. Crying out of frustration, Kuina stated that she's the one who actually wants to cry, for she is a girl. Girls when they grow into adults they become weaker than boys. She told Zoro all about how much she envies him for being born a boy. Even her father broke her heart and her spirit by telling her can never fullfil her dream of becoming the world's stongest swordsman because she is a girl. However Zoro told her that she should not whine about all that even though she won against him. Stating that she's his goal, they promised that one day they will compete over that title.
At one evening, while Zoro was doing his stamina training three of his friends came to tell him the most shocking tragic news. ''KUINA IS DEAD''. She lost her footing on the stairs in the storage room while she went to find her katana's wheststone. Later Zoro met up with his teacher, while talking about Kuina Zoro demanded her sword from her father to get stronger on her behalf and rise above with both their dreams. With the words '' Kuina's soul and dream are now entrusted to you'' Zoro got past his years of training, gaining immense power he then set off on his journey to fulfill his promise.

Episode 911's remark

The Lost struggle to regain hope after Kin'emon and the others has been sent to the present (20 years in the future for them) is being exposoed. First, they realised that hope has not been completely lost. Lady Toki after using her ability on them she made a prediction that the Kozuki will appear after 20 years to take revenge. Thus there were people who truly believed in her words and waited all that time. Afterwards, leaving Kiku on Wano to collect Information Kin'emon, Raizo, Kanjuro and Momonosuke set out to sea heading toward Zou to get help from their fellows the Mink Tribe. However, since sailing is prohipited in Wano they were spotted, chased down and lost at sea. First, they seperated from Raizo in the way to Zou. Then they were seperated from Kanjurou on Dressrosa. Then Momonosuke rode by mistake a ship headed to Punk Hazard. That's where they meet up with the straw hats and truly begin to gain hope after a long journey of lost and despair.

After uncovering the mysteries around the incident that happened 20 years ago, and explaining how Kin'emon and the others came from the past thanks to Lady Kozuki Toki's ability. They expressed their ire about the present day Land of Wano. The row of factories, the uncountable number of smokestacks venting black smoke, undrinkable water, food under strict control, Daimyos and regions that were demolished, barren lands and the name Kozuki despised and discriminated because of all the lies. At the verge of abandoning hope that no one will fight along side them in this unknown land. However there were still people who admire Oden and truly wish to help the Kozuki clan and restore it to its former glory.

After the quest of rescuing Tama and rewarding Okobore Town. Luffy went with Law, Zoro and Kiku toward the ruins of the Oden castel. There they meet up with Kin'emon who should have went to meet them at the entrance, but due to unfortunate circumstances was unable to get out of the bathroom. Then they learnt that Momo and Dogstorm made it to Wano. As well as meeting up with the rest of the straw hats. Furthermore, Kin gathers everyone to tell them of the last secret they kept hidden. Turns out that the 5 Samurai: Kin'emon, Kanjuro, Raizo, Kiku and Momonosuke are people of the past that traveled through time to the present Wano Kuni. Also the spreading rumor of the ghosts of the Kozuki clan that are said to appear after 20 years to take revenge on Kaido and the Shogun Orochi.

''Syrup Village Arc'' remark

We face a very common issue in here which is prejudgement, in this world there are many people who are prejudged or easily misunderstood for their outer apperance, usual behavior, or familial background. assuming that people are criminals or delinquents because of mistakes they never made, or minor mistakes that the majority keep focus on and turns a blind eye on whatever good that person did.
throughout the whole one piece series this issue will be presented in different arcs and cases, as we saw the case of Usopp being prejudged as a bad person only because he's a liar and the fact that his father is a pirate. Also we will see in the ''Skyisland Arc'' the case of the Montblanc family and how it has been prejudged and made into a laughing stock for 400 years.
In relation to this matter Doflamingo one of the seven Warlords states that prejudgement is born from judging things and seeing matters through one's own principles without expanding the picture or opening new windows to see the issue from another angle. He proclaims that '' Pirates are evil? the marines are righteous? these terms have changed throughout the course of history, Kids who have never seen peace and kids who have never seen war have different values.''

Also there is the issue of treauring your friends, catch each other's hands and move forward side by side. For friends are not convenient tools you can use and throw as you please. They are what fills your heart when you're lonely, catches you uy when you fall down, advise you and correct you when you're mistaken, and they're always there for you when you need them the most.

''Syrup Village Arc'' episode 18

Episode 18 The straw hat pirates are out at sea suddenly the sky turns black and the sound of thunder echoes. They've approached the legendary treasure island. It's a famous island among pirates rumored that whoever gets close to it, faces God's anger. Getting past the storm, the crew landed on land. There were many strange plants and animals. There were a snake with a rabbit face, a bat with a panda face, a dog with a chicken face... . Suddenly, a strange sound ran throught the forest threatening Luffy and the others to either leave or they will turn into the animals they just saw. Turns out it was the island's guardian god. Since they refused his request, he threw god's judgement of wooden spears and animal attack. But unfortunately for this stupid god they were much stronger than to be intimidated by his empty threat. The truth turned out to a human stuck in a treasure box calling himself god in order to chase the pirates who come to the island to have its treasure for himself. His name was Gaimon, he spent 20 years stuck in the box living all alone. Then Luffy told him that he's the man who'll be the pirate king, aiming for One Piece thus heading to the Grand Line. Then Gaimon told him to rethink his goal, for the Grand Line is known as a hellish graveyard, breaking people's spirits turning them almost like zombies. As well as the numerous rumors about one piece that makes its existence doubtful. It's far beyond reach, a dream within a dream. However Luffy's optimism and smile did not disappear.
That made Gaimon remember about his past self where he was full of passion and chasing dreams as well. Telling them that 20 years ago when he was a pirate he came to that island along with hid friends to search for the treasure. However serching for a whole month they found nothing but an empty box. they pirates left forgetting to search one last place. That's where Gaimon went and found the treasure, but fell down and got stuck in the box. Therefore he has been living alone for 20 years guarding the treasure he's found. Then Luffy and the others offered to get it for him and went to the treasure's location. Regardless Luffy refused to give Gaimon the treasure. Gaimon understood that acctually there were only empty boxes up there. Then Luffy invited him to his crew but he refused saying that now after he got released fromn his illusion. He wants to stay and protect his animal friends. Then waving goodbye the crew left the island.

''Syrup Village Arc'' episode 17

Episode 17 after his eyes got used at Kuro's shakudhi movements, Luffy caught him with ease. Using his rubber body Luffy stuck himself up on Kuro to prevent him from using his leg techniques anymore. On the other side, Zoro cut the branch that was in Usopp's way preventing him from sniping Jango. With a gun powder star, Jango's face was set on fire and with a rubber bell, Luffy headbutted Kuro to unconsciousness. ''Monkey D Luffy'' declaring his full name, Luffy stated that a True pirate would never give up his name until the day he dies. Therefore, the idea of him losing against a pirate who discarded his name and ran away from the sea is IMPOSSIBLE. Lastly by chasing the Kuroneko pirates away, the battle to defend Usopp's village closes its curtains.
Then Usopp demanded from kaya and his little friends to keep what happened and everthing they saw a secret. For no matter what they say he'll just like always be called  a Liar, thus there was no need to tell them what's already over and give create panic. Nothing happened, everithing is just a hoax.
Thanks to the live battle Usopp got to experience, he finally got over his hesitation and decided to set to sea, to become a real pirate, and embrace the vast sea for the Jolly Roger is calling him. summoning his little crewmates to their usual meeting place, Usopp announced the disband of the Usopp pirate crew. Setting them on the path to follow their dreams Ninjin wanted to run a tavern, Piiman wanted to become a topnotch carpenter, Tamanegi wanted to become a writer and Usopp wanted to become a Real pirate. Promising to carry their dreams in their hearts and following their own paths with determination until the end they set off their seperate ways. Under Captain orders the Usopp pirate crew has officially disbanded.
After eating their full, Kaya invited Luffy and the other two to the shore saying she prepared a present for them. A caravel type ship, the ''Going Merry''. It was a beautiful ship that impressed everyone. Especially the figurehead was to Luffy's liking.

Then Usopp came rolling to the beach but got stopped by a kick in the face. Saying his goodbyes to Kaya, he promised to bring her stories far better than the lies he told her when he comes back. Saying his goodbyes to Luffy and te others but got interrupted with a ''Why? aren't we already nakama?'' from Luffy, and they Set off to sea. Then Kaya heard from Meri the story of Usopp's past and his dreams and his lies. Getting moved by their spirit, their unwavering determination and to repay Usopp for his kindness Kaya herself set on a dream. Her dream was to become a Doctor. Then, the little kids set off to the village to carry in Usopp's footsteps and shout ''Pirates are coming!!!!!!!!!!''.

Episode 16 running with full strength across the forest, the 3 kids and Kaya were trying to escape from the hypnotist Jango. pooof!!!! a whole set of trees were cut down, it was Jango rather than searching for them between the woods, he would cut them down so they wouldn't have a place to hide. Unfortunately, Kaya's stamina has reached its limits, she fell down, rose a fever and can no longer run. seeing that she could no longer continue, Kaya demanded that the kids must leave her and run on their own. Realizing that without Kaya they will be able to escape, the kids remembered the usual saying of their captain ''If you fing yourself losing, then run away with your tail between your legs'', and after witnessing that Usopp is a true liar for he always kept saying to run eventhough he was fighting risking his own life. Making their decision the kids are ready to fight, fight to live.
Meanwhile at the slope Kuro declared that in the first place he had no intention of letting anyone who knew his real identity leave alive. That's why even if they carried out their mission, Jango and the rest of the pirates were meant to die for him. According to Kuro's definition: A pirate crew is merely a bunch of dogs which aren't fit to live in a civilized society, on their own they can never do anything right, thus they are just pawns for the captain to use, whether they live or die is up to him, no matter how big the obstacle is they just have to move according to his plan, they have to DIE for his plan.
At that moment Luffy stated that no matter how great of a pirate Kuro is, he still stands at a lower level than Usopp. ''COMPOSURE'' that's what Kuro lacks to be a TRUE pirate. Getting angry at Luffy's insult Kuro unleashed his ultimate technique SHAKUSHI. It is a blind attack using his Stealth foot, due to his fast movement he can't himself tell who he's killing, thus his range of attack spreads and everyone and everything becomes a reachable target. While everyone was falling down like autumn leaves, Luffy let out a shout from the soul: ''WHAT DO YOU THINK NAKAMA ARE!!!!!''. A nakama is not a pawn, not a convenient tool you use then throw away, they are far much more precious. After stoping his movement, Luffy declared that he will never become a man like Kuro. But, Shakushi!!! and here we go again.
On the other hand, Jango found the kids' footsteps and reached their place. Faking surrender, the kids fought bravely to their fullest but it was no use, for they can never win against someone whose got real battle experience. Then Jango stated as a condition to Kaya whether she appears or he kills the kids. She wrote the will as he wanted and now it's time for her to die.
